How to create links bundles

The Short.io feature links bundles (link-in-bio pages) are customizable landing pages that allow you to group multiple links in a single place. You can then share them with your audience as a package. Each bundle supports drag-and-drop link ordering, social media link integration and theme customization (including colors and fonts).

To create a bundle:

  1. From the Short.io dashboard, navigate to the Main page menu.

  2. Enter a name for your bundle in the Bundle title field and click the Save button:

  3. In the Link was created dialog that appears, you can:

    • enter a slug of your choice (or leave the auto-generated one, or even select one from the AI suggestions)

    • optinally enter descriptive tags (or select from the AI suggestions)

  4. Click the Save button.

You can also select any of the available options from the Customization features:

In this case, you will be redirected to the respective section of the link's settings.

  1. Click the Close button. The Links bundle section appears and you can start configuring your bundle:

The newly created bundle is also added to the Branded links section of your dashboard:

You can configure the following elements of a links bundle:

Title​

In the Bundle title field, you can set a new name:

You can add social media links to your bundle as follows:

  1. Click the Add social link button:

  2. In the respective fields, enter the URLs of your social media profiles:

  3. Save.
    The link is added to the bundle.

To include more social links or to edit the already added ones, click the + (Add more) button:

You can add short branded links to your bundle as follows:

  1. Click the Add first link button:

  2. In the Add link dialog, enter the title and the short URL (if it does not extis, it will be created with auto-generated slug):

To include more branded links click the + Add more button:

To remove a link, click the X button next to it:

You can also reorder the added links by dragging and dropping them.

Bundle preview options​

The bundle preview section allows you to review the appearance of your bundle in the three available modes:

  • Desktop

  • Tablet

  • Mobile

Logo & background image​

You can customize the logo and the background image of your bundle links as follows:

  1. Click the icon in the top right corner of the bundle preview.

  2. In the dialog that appears, select the image files from your local storage:

  3. Click the Done button:

The logo and the background image are uploaded and displayed in the bundle links preview:

Colors​

To customize the color palette of your bundle links:

  1. Click the icon in the top right corner of the bundle preview.

    You will be redirected to the Domain settings-> UI customization section.

  2. There, navigate to the Domain theme -> Background colors section:

  3. Select the needed colors (you can find more information on theme colors in the following article).

  4. Save the changes and return to the bundle by opening it for editing from the Branded links menu.

The new colors will be applied and visible from the bundle links preview.

Fonts​

To customize the font type of your bundle links:

  1. Click the icon in the top right corner of the bundle's preview. You will be redirected to the Domain settings-> UI customization section.

  2. There, navigate to Typography and enter a font type (you can find more information on fonts in the following article):

  3. Save the changes and return to the bundle by opening it from the Branded links menu.

The new font will be applied and visible from the bundle links preview.

You can convert a links bundle to a short link as follows:

  1. Open the bundle for editing from the Branded links menu.

  2. In the Basic link editing section click the Convert to redirect button:

  3. Enter a destination (original) URL:

  4. Click the Save button.

The bundle will be converted to a short link.

You can convert a short link to a links bundle as follows:

  1. Open the short link for editing from the Branded links menu.

  2. Navigate to the Links bundle section and click the Convert button:

  3. You are prompted to confirm the conversion: "This will create a new links bundle using this link's title and replace the destination URL.":

  4. Click the Convert button:

The short link will be converted to a links bundle.

To delete a links bundle:

  1. From the Branded links menu, select the bundle you want to remove.

  2. Click the icon.

  3. You are prompted to confirm the deletion: "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this link? Please note that link redirects for URL <your-bundle-link> will stop working. Deletion is irreversible."

  4. Click the Permanently delete button.

The bundle will be deleted.
