How to customize a URL slug

You can edit the URL slugs of your short links.

Note

The slugs are unique, and you cannot have two or more with the same name. However, Short.io supports case-sensitive slugs, for example, NewSlug and newslug can be regarded as distinct. You can turn on/off the option Make case-sensitive the slugs of the links from the Domain settings->Redirects screen.

To customize a slug​

  1. Sign in to your Short.io account.

  2. Navigate to the Branded links.

  3. Click on next to the link for which you want to edit the slug:

  4. In the Basic link editing screen change the Link slug:

  5. Click on Save.

The slug is updated.
