How can I add a free s.gy subdomain?

Short.io offers you the possibility to register a subdomain of our s.gy domain and use it for link shortening at no cost.

Note

You can add up to 3 free subdomains of the s.gy domain.

Adding an s.gy subdomain​

  1. From the Short.io left side panel's Quick links menu, select Add domain:

  2. Click Try for free.

  3. In the next dialog enter a name for your subdomain.

    The allowed symbols include: letters a-z (A-Z), digits 0-9 and the hyphen - :

  4. Click Add domain.

The subdomain has been added:

and you can start shortening links, and/or importing links from a CSV file.

You can also generate a few link examples to help you get started.

Note

If you have not added (and verified) your phone number in the profile settings, the following message appears: To activate the domain we need to verify your phone number. Complete the action steps as described in this article.

You can load a few examples of short links as follows:

  1. After your subdomain has been created, from Branded links menu click Generate examples:

The example short links will appear under your subdomain:
