How to buy a domain on Short.io

You can buy a domain via Short.io at the exact price at which the domain registrars are selling it.

The advantage of buying a domain via Short.io is that no configuration actions are required from your side. The domain will be automatically activated.

Important note

Once the domain is purchased, you will receive an email from the registrar with a request to confirm your contact information. You have 15 days to complete the verification. After that period, your domain will be suspended.

To buy a domain on Short.io​

  1. Sign in to your Short.io account.

  2. Click on Add domain from your Dashboard menu:

  3. Click on Buy short domain.

  4. Enter the name of the domain which you want to purchase and click on Search:

  5. Click on your selection and then on Register:

  6. In the next screen provide your billing information and click on Proceed:

  7. In the next dialog click on Verify and then enter the received code to confirm your phone number:

  8. Proceed by entering your credit card details and complete the payment.

Your credit card will be charged for the new domain, and a receipt will be sent via email.

Important note

After you purchased a domain, wait up to 4 hours for its activation. When your domain is active, feel free to shorten your links and enjoy Short.io.
