How to add, verify and edit my phone number

With the Short.io Phone Number Verification feature, you can enhance your account security. It adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.

You will also need to verify your phone number to use our free short.gy subdomains.

Adding and verifying a phone number​

To add a phone number:

  1. Sign in to your Short.io account.

  2. Navigate to Settings -> Profile -> User Information:

  1. Click Add phone:

  2. In the next dialog, select your country and enter your phone number:

  3. Click Send SMS.

  4. Enter the code you have received in the SMS code field:

  5. Click Verify.

    Your phone number is verified:

Editing a phone number​

To edit your phone number:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Profile -> User Information:

  2. Click Edit phone.

  3. Repeat steps 4 to 7.

    Your new phone number is verified:
