How to remove links from a folder

You can either remove one link from a folder using the edit menu or remove multiple links at once from the Branded links panel.

Removing one link from a folder

1. Sign in to your Short.io account.

2. In the Dashboard navigate to the Branded links panel and click on the folder from which you want to remove a link.

3. Click on to edit the link:

   

4. In the Basic link editing panel remove the folder to which the link belongs by selecting the option None:

   

5. Click on Save.

6. Go back to the Branded links panel and click on your folder.

The link is removed only from the specific folder. However, it is not deleted from the branded links.

Removing links from the Branded links panel

1. In the Branded links panel click on a folder and select the links which you want to remove:

   

2. Click on next to Move to folder to expand the options:

   

3. Click on Remove from folder.

4. In the next screen click on Confirm:

   

The links are removed only from the specific folder. However, they are not deleted from the branded links.
