How to configure Short.io SSO via Google Workspace

Short.io supports Organization SSO (Single Sign-On) integration with Google Workspace.

Note

SSO is available on the Enterprise Plan.

Configuring SSO with Google Workspace​

Before you begin​

Please, follow the guidelines from the article General SSO set up instructions. Then continue with the Google configuration.

Google settings​

  1. Sign in to your Google Workspace account.

  2. In the sidebar navigate to Apps > Web and mobile apps:

  3. Click Add app and choose the Add custom SAML app option.

  4. In the App details screen enter Shortio as app name, add a description of the app, and (optionally) upload an app icon:

  5. Click Continue.

  6. From the next screen:

    • copy the SSO URL and the Entity ID values and save them in a text file

    • download the certificate

  7. Click Continue.

  8. On the next screen:

    • in the ACS URL field enter the following link where you substitute <yourcompanyname> with Your SSO configuration name:

      https://authorizer.short.io/auth/saml/<yourcompanyname>

    • in the Entity ID enter shortcm

    • select EMAIL from the Name ID format list

    • select Basic information > Primary email from the Name ID list

  9. Click Continue.

  10. In the next screen click Finish:
