# How to exclude bots and crawlers from statistics

You can remove bots and crawlers from your domain statistics by excluding their IP addresses in the **Domain Settings**.

## To exclude an IP address from statistics[​](#to-exclude-an-ip-address-from-statistics "Direct link to To exclude an IP address from statistics")

1. Sign in to your [Short.io account](https://short.io/).

2. In the **Dashboard** click on **Click stream** to review the last recorded clicks for your domain:

3. Select and copy the IP address which you want to exclude from the statistics.

4. Navigate to **Domain settings** -> **Statistics**:

5. Enter the copied address in the IP field and click on **Add IP to exclude**.

The IP address is excluded and will no longer appear in your domain statistics.
