How to automatically connect my NameSilo domain with Short.io

If you want to configure your domain manually follow the instructions in ths article.

How to automatically connect your domain

1. Sign in to your Short.io account.

2. Click on Add domain and then on Add own domain:

   

3. Enter your domain name and click on This is empty short domain (sub-domain) just for links:

   

4. Click on Add domain.

5. In the next screen, you can click on:

   • Instruction: if you decide to still perform a manual connection

   • Configure: if you want to continue with the automatic presets

   

6. When you click on Configure, the following message appears:

   

7. Click on Confirm. You are redirected to the Namesilo login page.

8. After logging in, you can review the automatic presets by clicking on Advanced details:

   

   

9. Click on Accept. The settings are saved and you are redirected again to the Short.io dashboard.

Note

Configuring the connection takes around 15 minutes and during that time you may still see the following message:

You can click on the refresh icon until the message disappears.

When the domain becomes active, feel free to shorten links and enjoy Short.io.
